Description
The specimen consists of a portion of salivary gland which on one surface contains a lobulated
tumour mass. Cut surface of the tumour shows solid pale and tan areas separated by fibrous tissue
trabeculae. Occasional small cysts are seen within the central portion of the tumour. Histologic
sections taken from the tumour show pleomorphic adenoma with areas of cartilage formation and
ossification. Ossification is an unusual feature within clear morphic adenoma.
