Description
The renal parenchyma has been replaced by cysts which measure up to 2.5 cm diameter.
History
This woman died at the age of 56 following perforation of a diverticulum of the sigmoid colon.
She had been in chronic renal failure for a number of years. At autopsy there were cysts in the liver
as well as the kidneys.
