Description
This is a portion of the right lung. The bronchus to the upper lobe is displayed; this shows an
irregularly-roughened area, slightly raised above the surface. Viewed from the side, one can see
tumour tissue infiltrating the lung in relation to this bronchus. The lung also shows lipoid
pneumonia secondary to obstruction by the tumour.
