Description
There is pronounced interstitial fibrosis with lobulation and honeycomb formation which is most
marked in the lower lobe. There is a mild degree of subpleural anthracosis.
History
This 62 year old female had a long history or rheumatoid arthritis which was complicated
by fibrosing alveolitis. Death was due to superimposed pneumonia.
