Description
This specimen is a hemisected testis with an attached portion of cord. Situated in the central portion
of the testis and compressing the rete testis there is a semi-spherical tumour mass. This is pale and
has a firm consistency. On sectioning this was shown to be a Sertoli cell tumour with no histologic
evidence of malignancy.
History
The patient presented with a short history of painless testicular swelling.
