Description
This shows 2 enlarged adrenal glands (at autopsy these weighed 20 g). The adrenals are normal in
contour but much bigger than normal. Beneath is mounted a uterus together with the tubes and
ovaries which come from a neonate. This child presented as a male and died in what, in retrospect,
could be described as an Addisonian crisis.
